Ingredients
- 8 ounces pasta
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground sumac
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup mint, chopped
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Steps
- Boil the pasta in salted water until tender, then reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain the pasta.
- Melt the butter in a skillet. Cook the mushrooms and onion until the mushrooms are browned.
- Add the garlic, ground sumac, and cherry tomatoes. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the milk, reserved pasta water, and parmesan cheese until the mushroom sauce is creamy.
- Toss the pasta with the mushroom sauce and mint. Season with salt and black pepper, then serve hot.
