Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup green beans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Steps

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water until tender, then reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain the pasta.
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet. Cook the mushrooms and onion until the mushrooms are browned.
  3. Add the garlic, dried oregano, and green beans. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the milk, reserved pasta water, and parmesan cheese until the mushroom sauce is creamy.
  5. Toss the pasta with the mushroom sauce and parsley. Season with salt and black pepper, then serve hot.
